I could use help in finding the correct tire size for my 1955 Peugeot 176TC4. The tires on the bike are 25x3. This size seems impossible to find. During my search, I found an old sale ad listing the tire size for a 1953 as 19". They are also wider than 3.00. See photos I suspect that the tire terminology has changed over the years and I should be looking for 19". Is that correct? Has anyone tried to fit wider than 3.00 inside the big fenders? The new tires include a N# that I do not understand. Can you tell me what this number means?

Hello, As far as I remember, my TC4 was equiped with 19*2,75 tire for the front wheel and 19*3,00 for the rear wheel...
